Oh.my.goodness.
WHERE HAS THIS YEAR GONE!?
I can't even believe how fast everything is moving. Sometimes I can't even catch my breath...
Something you might not know about me is I am one of those people who loves to be busy. That said, sometimes I push it TOO far.
Such as this year. I have 23 hours of class in four days. I work 15 hours a week. I am in a musical with rehearsals 4 hours a week. And I have a recital this year. That said, I have worn myself too thin. Un peu de aka TRES overwhelmed is what you would call it.
Alas, it is a sad day as I had to hand in my resignation to IndigoBooks. I really do love my job there. What's not to love!? I get to go to work, and be around books and talk to people about books ALL day! No complaints there.
I am definitely learning about time management this year. How to budget my time accordingly, so that I make the most of every day to the Glory of God.
Maybe this will be a theme for my year. Trusting God not only with my time but with my money and my work as well. (especially now that I am back on getting an allowance from the rents...oof, financial independence = GONE!) [not that it was ever actually there to begin with]
So here's to a new chapter of my life. One without a job... It has been a long time since that has been the case.
There's one thing I won't miss though... Waking up at 5 am twice a week to get to work for 7.
BRING ON THE SLEEP!
On another note. It is January 17th today, meaning that tomorrow is my best friends Kelly-Ann Semkiw's birthday. And then its February, which means I get to see my darling Sam Thrall for our FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY! [AND VALENTINES DAY/READING WEEK!] :) I'm quite literally jumping up and down I'm so excited!
To make it even better I will be staying with the one and only Bernier family for the first time... I'm so pumped for some serious girl bonding times with a Mrs. Jessica Bernier and a Mrs. Emily Morrice!
Woosh..
